The Scriptures
The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired by God. It is God’s revelation of Himself to man – a testimony to Christ. It is inerrant, true and trustworthy.
God
There is one, and only one, living and true God. God is infinite, holy and perfect. He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit – three distinct persons without division of nature, essence or being.
God the Father
God the Father is Spirit and, as Father, reigns with providential care over all creation according to His purposes and by His grace. God is Father in truth to those who place their faith in Jesus Christ.
God the Son – Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin, Mary. Jesus, totally God and totally man, lived a sinless life and died a substitutionary death on the cross for the redemption of men from sin. Jesus was buried and arose from the grave, victorious over sin. Jesus, our Savior, ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of God. He will one day return to reign in glory as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
God the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully Divine. He enables men to understand truth, exalts Christ, and convicts men of sin, calls men to the Savior and effects regeneration. At the moment of regeneration He baptizes every believer into the Body of Christ. He is the believer’s divine comforter, helper, instructor, and guide. The Holy Spirit seals the believer until the day of redemption.
